Evolution is like growing for Pokemon. Alright, evolution is like, each Pokemon can evolve twice, once, or doesn't evolve at all. So, for example, the Pokemon Ditto doesn't evolve. Another example is that Riolu only evolves into Lucario. And pretty much everyone probably knows that most Pokemon evolve twice.
Someone once commented about Diglett and how it grows heads and evolves into Dugtrio. I told her that he doesn't grow, but after he fights enough it doesn't really grow but it just pokes out. It just looks like he's growing. It will glow around the Pokemon and it might get taller and then body parts will poke out. I like evolution a lot. I really like it.
Sometimes, depending on its gender, a Pokemon can evolve into one Pokemon or another. Just like in the picture above. Oddish evolves into Gloom, and if the Pokemon is male it will evolve into Vileplume or if it is female it will evolve into Bellossom.

ReplyDeleteI really liked your narrative about the evolution of Pokemon. I do have a question or two, do different Pokemon need different things to evolve, or do they just evolve as they mature through battling other Pokemon? For example, does a grass type Pokemon need some special grass to eat before it can evolve? Like some magical onion grass? And why do some Pokemon evolve, while others do not? That's strange to me.
I always liked the idea of evolving as well, its really neat to create a bond with a Pokemon and then have them evolve into something stronger and usually cooler looking, its like a reflection of all the hard work you put into training it!

Well, it doesn't have to eat a special thing, but there is a special Pokemon food which is specialized on a type. If a Pokemon of that type eats it, its battle skills will get higher and it will evolve faster.
DeleteI don't really know why some Pokemon don't evolve, but I think that the creators of Pokemon couldn't think of a name or how it should look for that Pokemon.
